Facebook Pages Integration

The Enterpret integration with Facebook-Pages allows our customers to analyse their comment threads directly inside Enterpret.

Written by Amlesh Prusty

Overview

The Facebook Pages integration lets you ingest comment threads from a Facebook Page directly into Enterpret.

How it works

  • Backfill on setup: When you first add a Page, Enterpret backfills the greater of 600 posts or 3 months of posts.

  • Real-time ingestion: After setup, Enterpret listens to events from the Page and ingests any new comment automatically.

  • Thread structuring: Comments are organized internally into threads along with their parent comments and posts.

Note: Each integration supports a single Facebook Page. To add more Pages, create a new integration for each one.

Configure

  1. Go to dashboard.enterpret.com and log in.

  2. Navigate to the Integrations page by clicking Integrations under your profile.

  3. Click + New Integration.

  4. Choose Facebook Pages and click Connect.

  5. Select Feedback Integration.

  6. You will be redirected to Facebook's OAuth flow to log in and select the account you want to grant permissions for.

    1. If you are not logged into Facebook, you will be taken to the Facebook login page.

    2. If you have previously added a Page and are adding a new one, you will see the page-selection screen. Click Edit settings to change permissions, or continue ahead.

    3. Choose the Pages you want to grant Enterpret access to, then click Next.

    4. On the permissions screen, review the requested permissions and click Done.

    5. Once processed, a confirmation screen connects Enterpret to your Facebook Page. Click OK.

  7. Facebook Pages will now show as Connected in your integrations.

  8. Once the integration is created, a sidebar appears with your Page options.

  9. If the sidebar does not appear, click the integration's Edit button to open it.

  10. Select the Page you want Enterpret to ingest data from — you will see all Pages you administer.

Note: Each integration supports a single Facebook Page. To add more Pages, create a new integration.

Permissions requested

During setup, Enterpret requests these Facebook permissions:

  • Read content posted on the Page — lets us create threads from the comments received.

  • Manage accounts, settings and webhooks for a Page — lets us receive comments on your Page posts in real time.

  • Read user content on your Page — lets us backfill comment threads from your Page.

  • Show a list of the Pages you manage — lets us show which Pages you can add as an integration.
