Reddit Search (UGC)
Reddit Search brings public conversations about your brand, products, and competitors into Enterpret. UGC stands for user-generated content: posts and comments written by people on Reddit.
When to use Reddit Search
Use Reddit Search to find mentions of your business in broader communities where only some conversations are relevant to you.
The standard Reddit integration collects content from a selected subreddit without requiring a keyword match. Reddit Search lets you track specific words or phrases across multiple subreddits in one integration.
How it works
Choose the brand names, product names, competitor names, or phrases you want to track.
Choose the subreddits you want to monitor.
Enterpret finds matching posts and comments and brings in available conversation context.
For example, a retailer could track its name across shopping communities to find discussions about purchases, delivery, and customer service.
Keywords
Keywords are checked against post titles and bodies, and against comment text when searching selected subreddits. A match to any one of your terms is enough.
Matching ignores capitalization, so you do not need separate entries for “Acme,” “ACME,” and “acme.” Add different spellings or names when they are useful.
Choose specific terms where possible. Short or common words may also appear in unrelated discussions.
Title keywords
Title keywords look for a term in the title of a post. They help find discussions about your business even when the replies do not repeat its name.
For example, a post titled “My experience buying from Acme” might have a reply saying “How was the shipping?” That reply can be collected as part of the discussion.
Subreddits
Subreddits define which communities to search. Your brand and competitor keywords are searched within the same list of communities.
To focus on relevant mentions, include keywords or title keywords alongside your subreddit list. Selecting subreddits alone does not limit collection to mentions of your business.
Keywords can also be used without a subreddit list for broader post discovery. This does not guarantee coverage of every matching comment across Reddit.
Posts, comments, and conversation context
You can include posts, comments, or both.
When a conversation matches, Enterpret can collect comments from the thread and include available parent messages for context. Replies may be collected even when they do not repeat your keyword.
Enterpret also checks eligible matched threads for later replies. Collection is limited, so some comments or parts of a large discussion may be missing.

What to expect
Coverage depends on your setup. Search terms and communities determine which conversations can be found. Reddit Search does not collect every mention across Reddit.
Updates are periodic. New posts and replies may take time to appear.
Historical search supports up to 90 days. Available results may not include every post or comment from that period.
Some content may be unavailable. Search limits, unavailable posts, and large threads can affect collection.
Existing feedback stays in place. Changing your integration does not automatically remove previously collected records. Contact your Enterpret team if you need help reviewing them.
Frequently asked questions
Can I track competitors?
Yes. Include competitor names or relevant phrases in your keywords.
Can I change keywords after setup?
Yes. Contact your Enterpret team to update your keywords.
Does every reply need to mention my keyword?
No. Replies from a matched conversation can be collected without repeating the keyword, helping preserve the discussion’s context.
Do I need a separate integration for each subreddit?
No. One Reddit Search integration can monitor multiple subreddits.
Where can I learn about Reddit’s own search?
