How to integrate Reddit?
Steps to integrate Reddit to your feedback data :
Go to lower left of the screen and click on the tenant logo, a panel will open up.
Click onIntegrations.On clicking
Integrations, this screen will open up. On the top right corner of the screen, click on the+ NEW INTEGRATIONbutton.
A list of all available integrations that can be done through Enterpret is shown on this screen.Search around for Reddit, Click on
CONTINUE >to move forward with the process of integration. You will asked to choose the type of integration would you like Reddit to be, choose 'Feedback Integration'
On clicking 'Feedback Integration' on this step, you will be asked to log in to Reddit and then authorization. Click on
Allowto help Enterpret analyse feedback from your Reddit accountAfter this, a right side window will appear where you are required to add the following:
- the Subreddit name from where you want the feedback to be integrated
- the type of feedback that is being integrated (for this you can choose from the templates provided or enter a new one & it's description)
Below the description field, you can see validation radio buttons, which will check if the description filled up addresses all the underlying questions.
If the description is not good enough, you will encounter error states. Here, for example, let's check General User Feedback for Subreddit - developersIndia. After filling up all the required fields, click on
SAVE CHANGESVoila! It's done. The specific Subreddit intergration is complete, will take up to 24 hours for the feedback data to be available for analysis
Reddit data collection limits
Seven-day window: We collect new comments only while a post is less than seven days old. A new comment on an older post won’t be collected.
25 comments and replies per post: We collect up to 25 comments and replies combined. Busy posts may have comments missing.
Three reply levels: We collect a comment, replies to that comment, and replies to those replies. Anything nested deeper won’t be collected.
These limits mean Enterpret may show only part of a Reddit conversation.
Analyze this feedback with Enterpret Agent
Once this integration's feedback is available in Enterpret, use Enterpret Agent to investigate themes, summarize customer requests, and prepare reports. Specify this source and the reporting period in your request. For daily reports, weekly digests, and recurring reporting, configure scheduled Agent automations with Slack or email delivery.
This guide covers feedback ingestion. Agent connectors are a separate setup for reading external context or taking supported actions in other tools; connecting a feedback source does not automatically authorize those actions.
