Reports in Enterpret

Updated by Vaishnavi

Start with Enterpret Agent and automations for reporting. Create daily reports, weekly digests, recurring voice-of-customer summaries, and scheduled team updates in Automations. Use connectors to include external context or supported follow-up actions.

How do I set up a daily report for my team?

Use Enterpret Agent and Automations to create a daily report, recurring summary, scheduled digest, or weekly team update delivered to Slack or email.

  1. Open Automations and create a scheduled automation, starting from a template when useful.
  2. Describe the report: product area or accounts, sources, customer segment, reporting window, comparison period, and desired format.
  3. Choose Daily, set the run time, and confirm the timezone. Use a weekly or monthly schedule for less frequent reporting.
  4. Choose the Slack or email delivery destination. Attach available connectors and Skills if the job needs context or supported actions in another tool, and review the saved permissions.
  5. Run a test, check the evidence and destination, then save and confirm the automation is active. Review run history to check execution and delivery.

Example brief: “Prepare a daily report on [product area] for [team]. Cover the last 24 hours, compare with the previous 24 hours, and highlight new complaints, feature requests, and significant changes. Include supporting feedback links and representative quotes. Deliver the report to [Slack channel or email recipients].” Configure the schedule and destination in the automation settings; a prompt alone does not activate recurring delivery.

See scheduled Agent automations for the full setup and connectors for supported external tools and access. A scheduled time starts or queues work; report arrival depends on successful execution and delivery.

Choose a reporting workflow

  • New recurring report or summary: use scheduled Agent automations to research feedback and deliver a report to Slack or email.
  • One-time analysis or report: start an Enterpret Agent Session and describe the scope, reporting dates, evidence, and output you need.
  • Existing saved Feed or Dashboard subscription: use the subscription controls below when you specifically need that Feed's report or a Dashboard snapshot.

Existing Feed and Dashboard subscriptions

The following controls manage saved Feed and Dashboard subscriptions. These subscriptions have their own settings and do not configure a separate scheduled Agent automation.

ReportWhat it usesFrequency choices
Feed reportThe saved Feed's filters and supported query configurationReal-time, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly, as offered by the subscription
Dashboard reportA snapshot of the saved DashboardDaily, Weekly, or Monthly

Use the options shown for your report and destination. Check the displayed timezone and UTC offset when setting a scheduled delivery time.

Subscribe to a Feed

  1. Open the Feed and configure the feedback you want to receive, including its filters. If the Feed includes an Ask Agent prompt, review that too; the subscription panel describes a response based on new feedback. Use Ask Agent to edit the prompt.

  2. Save the Feed. Save any later changes you want the subscription to use.

  3. Open the Feed toolbar's more menu and choose Subscribe, or Edit Subscription for an existing subscription.

  4. Configure email recipients, Slack channels, or both in the subscription drawer. Choose the frequency and any delivery-time options shown.

  5. Review the destinations and complete the subscription. For an existing subscription, choose Update.

Creating or editing a Feed subscription requires permission to edit that Feed and manage outbound integrations. If the action is unavailable, ask your Enterpret administrator to check your access.

Subscribe to a Dashboard

  1. Open a saved Dashboard.

  2. Choose Subscribe, or ✓ Subscribed if you already have a subscription.

  3. Add the email recipients and/or Slack channels. Choose a supported scheduled frequency, then review the date, time, and displayed timezone.

  4. Complete the subscription, or choose Update to save changes to an existing one.

Dashboard subscriptions require permission to manage outbound integrations. Dashboard reports do not offer the Feed's real-time frequency.

Deliver reports to Slack

Use the Slack connection in the subscription drawer and authorize the intended workspace when needed. Select the destination channels offered for that connection.

For a private channel, add the app associated with report delivery to the channel in Slack first. Then refresh the channel list in Enterpret when offered and select the channel. Use Search by ID if it is available and the channel is difficult to find. An app installed only for feedback ingestion does not establish report-delivery access.

Choose recipients and channels whose members should see the report's contents. Review the saved Feed or Dashboard and the destinations before activating the subscription.

Update or unsubscribe

Return to the Feed's Edit Subscription action or the Dashboard's ✓ Subscribed button. Change the recipients, channels, or frequency and choose Update. Use Unsubscribe to cancel the subscription.

Disconnecting Slack from the reporting connection removes subscribed Slack channels from all your reports. Reconnecting does not automatically resume those Slack subscriptions; review and reconfigure them. To stop one report, use its subscription controls.

Troubleshoot delivery

Check the subscription's destinations, frequency, timezone, Slack connection, and the delivery app's channel access. For a missing or repeated report, send Enterpret Support the Feed or Dashboard link and any relevant Slack message links.

For other Slack tasks, see the Slack connection guide. Asking Enterpret questions in Slack and importing Slack conversations as feedback use separate workflows.
