Overview
The Enterpret integration for Intercom allows customers to integrate feedback from customer support conversations from Intercom into Enterpret's data pipeline. This allows customers to understand and make decisions based on the feedback they receive on Intercom.
We require OAuth to ingest data through the Intercom API. The current default polling interval is 15 minutes. Your integration may use a different configured schedule, including an older interval. Contact your Enterpret team to confirm the schedule for your connection.
Polling schedules periodic checks for eligible source data. Data becomes available for analysis after fetching and processing; the polling interval does not guarantee when a particular record or the first import will appear.
How it works
Initial import and processing time vary with the eligible conversation history, volume, source API limits, and processing workload. Contact Enterpret if you need an estimate for your connection.
Enterpret periodically searches for updated conversations and retrieves their conversation content. Which updates are included depends on the configured date window and ingestion settings. A fetched record can contain the conversation text rather than only its latest message.
Scheduled pulls can include eligible conversations before they are resolved. Availability depends on the source query and the conversation content returned by Intercom.
Note: Scheduled pulls use update-time windows and a creation-date lookback. Some older conversations or metadata-only changes can fall outside the eligible pull window. Contact your Enterpret team to confirm coverage or discuss reprocessing older conversations and metadata corrections.
Configure
Click on "Sign in with Google" and log in with your work email
Once you have logged in successfully, click the logo icon on the left sidebar to open the navigation menu, then select Integrations. navigate to integrations page by clicking on 'Integrations' under profile.
Click on the "+ New Integration" button.
Choose "Intercom" from the presented options, by clicking the "Connect" button in front of it.
You will be redirected to the Intercom login page. Login using your Intercom account credentials.
Allow Enterpret access to your Intercom workplace.
Once the above step succeeds, you would see Intercom as a "Connected" integration in your account.
Analyze this feedback with Enterpret Agent
Once this integration's feedback is available in Enterpret, use Enterpret Agent to investigate themes, summarize customer requests, and prepare reports. Specify this source and the reporting period in your request. For daily reports, weekly digests, and recurring reporting, configure scheduled Agent automations with Slack or email delivery.
This guide covers feedback ingestion. Agent connectors are a separate setup for reading external context or taking supported actions in other tools; connecting a feedback source does not automatically authorize those actions.
