Slack connects with Enterpret in two ways:

  • As a feedback source: Ingest messages from Slack channels as customer feedback, automatically tagged with your Adaptive Taxonomy

  • As a notification channel: Receive Feed Reports and Dashboard Reports directly in your Slack channels

How to connect Slack

  1. Click Integrations in the left navigation bar.

  2. Click the + New Integration button in the top-right corner.

  3. Search for Slack and click Continue.

  4. Select Feedback Integration as the integration type.

  5. You'll be redirected to the Slack authorization page. Click Allow to grant Enterpret access to your workspace. If you are not logged in to your Slack account, log in first.

  6. After authorizing, you'll return to the Integrations page. Click the Slack Channels field to select which channels you want to ingest as feedback.

A newly created Slack channel may take up to 5 minutes to appear in the channel list.

  7. Select the channels you want to use and click Save.

Note: As of November 2025, duplicate alert notifications have been significantly reduced. If you previously received repeated notifications for the same feedback, this has been fixed.

Using Slack for reports and notifications

Once connected, you can select Slack channels as delivery destinations for Feed Reports and Dashboard Reports. See the Reports in Enterpret article for full setup instructions on subscribing to reports and choosing delivery channels.

Troubleshooting

Channels not appearing: New Slack channels take up to 5 minutes to sync and appear in Enterpret's channel list. If a channel still doesn't appear after 5 minutes, try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.

No notifications received: Make sure the Enterpret bot has been added to the target Slack channels and has permission to post messages.
