Data Deletion Options in Enterpret

Updated by Enterpret

Enterpret supports several ways to delete data, from individual feedback records to entire integrations. This article summarizes each option and how to request it.

1. Delete data for specific users or accounts (User Privacy API)

Use this when you receive a deletion request from an end user, or want to proactively manage user data privacy.

  • Obtain an API key from your CSM

  • Submit the User IDs to delete (up to 100 per request).

  • Deletion is hierarchical: a record match deletes the record; a user match deletes the user and their related records; an account match deletes the account and its associated users and records.

  • Requests are batched for scheduled processing. Use the User Privacy API reference below for request format, limits, and processing details; confirm the actual schedule and completion outcome with Enterpret Support.

See User Privacy API.

2. Delete individual feedback records

If you need specific feedback records removed, Enterpret Support can delete them from the backend. Share a link to the record(s) you want deleted.

3. Retroactively delete records that don't match your ingestion rules

Ingestion Blockers let you define rules that prevent certain feedback records from being ingested. If you set up an Ingestion Blocker and also want existing records that don't meet its criteria removed, contact Enterpret Support to confirm the matching criteria, deletion scope, and timing.

See Managing Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in Enterpret.

4. Delete an integration

Where a Delete Integration action is available to an authorized workspace administrator, review its confirmation before proceeding. Deletion can permanently remove associated feedback and affect saved analyses and reports. If the action is unavailable or you need to confirm the scope, contact Enterpret Support with the integration details. For background on integrations, see the Integration Activation Guide.

Enterpret masks supported PII patterns in designated feedback fields during ingestion. Configured Ingestion Scrubbers can also remove selected metadata values or parts of feedback content. Coverage depends on your data, fields, and workspace configuration. See Managing PII in Enterpret.

Note: Please reach out to support@enterpret.com or your CSM to request any of these.
